Template notice — review before launch

These terms are written to describe this site accurately, but they have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have counsel check them before launch, and delete this notice once you have.

1. What this site is

newbraunfelsseptic.com is an independent information and referral service for septic systems in Comal County, Texas. By using it you agree to these terms.

2. We are not a contractor

New Braunfels Septic is not a licensed septic installer, professional engineer or registered sanitarian. We do not install, repair, inspect, pump, design or maintain septic systems, and we do not hold ourselves out as qualified to do so. Texas requires licensure for that work. We connect property owners with licensed professionals who perform it.

3. Not professional advice

Everything on this site is general information about septic systems and the OSSF regulatory process in Comal County. It is not engineering, legal, regulatory or real estate advice, and it is not a substitute for a site-specific evaluation by a licensed professional.

Septic requirements depend on your soil, your lot, your setbacks and your location relative to the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone. Nothing here can tell you what your specific property requires. Only a site and soil evaluation performed by a qualified evaluator can.

4. Accuracy, and its limits

We research this site against primary sources — the Comal County Engineer's Office, TCEQ's OSSF rules in 30 TAC Chapter 285, the Edwards Aquifer rules in Chapter 213, and the Texas Health & Safety Code — and we link to them so you can verify what we say.

Even so: rules change, fees change, and prices move. Cost figures are planning ranges, not quotes. Before you spend money or commit to a design, confirm anything that matters with the Comal County Engineer's Office (830-608-2090) or TCEQ. We make no warranty that the information here is current, complete or applicable to your property.

5. Referrals and how we are paid

When you submit a quote request, we share your details with one or more licensed professionals so they can contact you. We may be compensated for that introduction. You are never charged, and our compensation does not depend on what you spend.

We do not employ, control, supervise or guarantee the professionals we refer you to. Any contract you enter is between you and that contractor. We are not a party to it and we are not responsible for their work, their pricing, their licensing status, their conduct or any dispute arising from it. Verify licence, insurance and references yourself before hiring anyone.

6. Third-party links

We link to county, state and other third-party resources for verification. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.

7. Your submissions

You agree that information you submit is accurate and that you are the property owner or otherwise authorised to request quotes for the property. Do not submit anyone else's contact details without their permission. See our Privacy Policy for how submissions are handled.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to submit false or automated requests, scrape it, attempt to breach its security, or interfere with its operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, New Braunfels Septic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of this site, from reliance on information published here, or from any dealing with a professional we referred you to.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance, and the effective date above will be revised.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
